Steve HarveyHarvey began his stand-up career. He appeared in stand-up comedy shows during the 1980s, and later was the host of Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. After his performance in the Kings of Comedy Tour's original King of Comedy he was a guest on The Original Kings of Comedy. The last stand-up event he did was in 2012. Harvey was host of the Family Feud host since 2010 and Celebrity Family Feud host ever since. Harvey was also host of Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. Harvey is also the host for Harvey's Funderdome. As an author, he has written four books which includes his best-selling Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was released in March of 2009. Harvey started Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment company that houses his production business East 112 along with different ventures. Harvey created an African adaptation of Family Feud and also invested in the HDNet acquisition as well as Anthem Sports and Entertainment. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey were first members of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. They're a not-for-profit charity that has a focus on youth education. Harvey has been seven times Daytime Emmy Award winner, two-time Marconi Award winner, and 14 times NAACP Image Award winner in different categories.
